After the successful integration of its Greek platform, Euronews, the most-watched news channel in Europe, selected BCE for the installation of its new bureau in Hungary.
BCE worked on both IT and broadcast integration including sound editing and mixing studios and telecom links from the new infrastructure to the customer head office based in Lyon (France). As for the Greek site, BCE will ensure the 24×7 monitoring from its NOC (Network Operation Centre) in Luxembourg.
“This new project confirms BCE expertise in system integration for IT and broadcast,” comments Jean-Alain Jachiet, Head of System Telecom and Network Solutions at BCE.

Hungarian is Euronews’ 13th language service; it is the second service to be produced entirely in the home country of a language after Greece.
“Euronews has been working with BCE for several years now and our cooperation has always been fruitful. Their participation in the creation of our new Hungarian office was an evidence after the successful opening of our Greek office in Athens. BCE knows our needs and we are entirely satisfied of their technical skills and know-how,”concludes Cécile Leveaux, CTO at Euronews.
